Salary Range: $35,600-$50,000

Position Summary
The Marketing and Content Coordinator is a member of the university’s Career Center team and will be responsible for areas including marketing/communication, social media and website maintenance, and activities related to the assessment of marketing, social media, and Career Center services. The Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Analytics and Student Experience.
The Marketing and Content Coordinator will focus on social media and marketing Career Center services, events, and professional development resources through video, digital, online, and print resources. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the university to support marketing of career-related events and information within the Career Network. This includes creation of marketing materials and strategies, delivery to appropriate audiences, and in collaboration with the Associate Director of Analytics and Student Experience, the assessment of marketing effectiveness. The Coordinator will create content for the Career Center’s social media presence across multiple platforms, monitor social media trends, and report on engagement. Under the supervision and in collaboration with the Associate Director, the Coordinator will update the Career Center website and contribute to a working group to enhance website content and functionality.
This role will work closely with the Associate Director of Analytics and Student Experience on continuous assessment of marketing efforts and Career Center programs and services to communicate outcomes, best practices, and areas for improvement internally and externally. The position will support annual data and assessment activities, including the First Destination Survey and internal reporting required by Institutional Research and Assessment. The Marketing and Content Coordinator will support the creation of materials that communicate important information from these reports to various stakeholder groups.
The Coordinator will also serve on committees and task teams within the Career Center, the Career Network, and university-wide that relate to marketing and communication to keep the Career Center informed about the larger university’s initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Temple University Career Center adheres to a hybrid work schedule where all staff are on campus three days per week and work from home two days per week.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of directly related experience.
- Experience creating content and managing multiple social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Experience with effective communication methods including social networking to reach all members of the community: students, alumni, faculty, staff, and employers.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Preferred
- Willingness to be featured in Career Center social media
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere)
- Experience in Canva
This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
