About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on R&D Technician (or Technologist) to join our core development team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building, testing, and refining next-generation catheter devices, while also contributing to early prototyping of upcoming technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prototype Fabrication: Assemble and test complex medical catheter prototypes for R&D and clinical use.
- Process Development: Support refinement of device designs and manufacturing workflows.
- Testing & Validation: Perform mechanical, functional, and visual inspections (V&V activities).
- Lab Operations: Maintain lab inventory, tools, and equipment; ensure safety and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, scientists, and clinicians in a fast-moving environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in medical device manufacturing or prototyping
- Expertise in micro-assembly / fine-detail work
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools used in medical devices
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a startup environment
- Strong verbal and written communication
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical training a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Background in quality inspection or manufacturing
- Prior work with structural heart catheters or electrical components

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
