Manufacturing Engineer I
Support and improve manufacturing processes by analyzing product requirements, optimizing workflow, and enhancing efficiency. Collaborate with vendors, operators, and cross-functional teams to refine methods, maintain quality, and ensure equipment readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes through research, design, testing, and equipment evaluation.
- Optimize workflow, space usage, and equipment layout to increase efficiency.
- Ensure product and process quality through testing methods, standards, and capability assessments.
- Provide data-driven insights on production, labor, and material costs; support planning and scheduling.
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing production trends.
- Address manufacturing engineering inquiries and support compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and documentation of process data.
- Assist in design/development projects and support technicians as needed.
- Maintain technical knowledge through training and professional development.
- Strong technical, communication, and documentation skills.
- ~1 year of relevant experience (internships acceptable).
- New grads encouraged to apply.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with occasional OT or off-shift work.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (advanced degree preferred). This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
