About the Role:
Join CEBS as an Electro-Optical Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of advanced payload systems. This role focuses on electro-optical engineering and system-level performance for airborne, spaceborne, or high-altitude platforms. As a consulting company this work is in support of our primes
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop payload system architectures and specifications.
- Perform performance analysis and design verification.
- Apply radiometry and goniometry principles in optical system design.
- Assemble and test electro-optical systems.
- Oversee integration and testing of payload components.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electro-optical engineering.
- Expertise in electro-optical systems and payload integration.
Preferred Experience
- Airborne, spaceborne, or high-altitude payload systems.
- Knowledge of EO/IR sensor technologies, RF payloads, or hyperspectral imaging.
Location & Travel
- Onsite in Goleta or Los Alamitos for four days per week.
- Domestic travel approximately 25%
Work Environment
- Extended periods of computer-based work.
- Regular use of keyboards, mice, and other input devices.
- Strong visual focus and attention to detail over long durations is essential.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
