Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer will design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, product quality, and operational performance. This is a hands-on role ideal for a recent graduate or an early-career engineer eager to grow within a fast-expanding company. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments, support product development, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as the company prepares to double in size over the next two years.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Design & Optimization: Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts that improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Machining Processes: Apply a strong understanding of CNC milling, turning, grinding, and drilling. Select proper cutting tools and materials based on properties and application needs.
- Tooling & Fixtures: Design and select tooling and fixtures for machining operations, including tool holding and work holding solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Cost Reduction: Drive cost-saving initiatives by improving resource utilization, reducing waste, and enhancing process efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead or support Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives to streamline operations and improve quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and other engineering teams to ensure smooth and safe manufacturing operations.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new technologies or machinery to enhance manufacturing capability.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all processes meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of process designs, improvements, and production performance metrics.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on machining or CNC environment experience strongly preferred (internship or full-time).
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Ability to read, create, and interpret technical drawings and 3D models.
- Knowledge of G-code and machining parameters is a plus.
- Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control procedures.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable interacting with senior management and participating in cross-functional projects.
