About Caliber Companies:
Caliber Companies is a long-term holding company with committed capital and a mission to acquire an expanding portfolio of enduring companies. We are in the early innings of building a world class organization founded on disciplined acquisitions, rigorous operational management and a compounding mindset measured in decades. Our companies are built on a foundation of partnership, empowerment, grit and longevity. Our committed capital for investment is from a selective group of investors and entrepreneurs with a shared ambition.
Caliber’s first platform company (Innovative Lab Services; initiated 2023) is expanding rapidly via organic growth and M&A (5 completed acquisitions, 2 more under LOI), and now the holding company is establishing a second platform in the industrial services space. To accelerate its industry leadership and value creation, platform two will be highly acquisitive both regionally and nationally.
As a young, entrepreneurial group we pride ourselves on our culture of grit, hunger, integrity and humility. We’re looking for similarly tenacious individuals to join the platform and continue to build market-leading companies.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly driven Vice President of M&A to join our newly established industrial services platform. This individual will play a critical leadership role in synthesizing the platform and managing transactions from sourcing through close, with a heavy emphasis on execution (75%) and selective, strategic deal sourcing (25%).
The VP of M&A will initially sit at the holding company as we establish the platform and close on the initial acquisitions. The VP of M&A will be a key leader of the platform team and be responsible for executing the inorganic growth strategy. This strategy will start regionally around the platform and eventually expand nationally, with a landscape of 1000+ targets. The best candidates would elevate to run the entire corporate development function at the platform and manage an M&A team.
