(Snr) Financial Analyst
Location: New York
Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 + bonus
Piper Maddox are supporting a highly successful clean energy IPP as they continue to expand their business focused on community-scale and utility-scale projects. You will play an integral role in supporting project finance, M&A, and capital markets activities, while developing expertise in complex financial modeling and transaction execution across solar and energy storage portfolios.
With over $1bl in capital secured to push forwards the energy transition industry, this business are expanding quickly given their huge success. Offering a fleet of offerings from financings through to engineering and deployment this platform are one of the strongest in the space, and continue to grow at a impressive rate.
What you will do:
- Build, maintain and optimize complex financial models for renewable energy projects.
- Focused on all technical aspects of financing including diligence, valuation, closing etc.
- Prepare and refine investment committee presentations, investor materials, and transaction documents.
- Conduct financial and market analyses to support strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
What you will have:
- 1+ years of experience within transactional finance, ideally clean energy or investment banking.
- Understanding of project finance, valuation principles, and capital market structures for energy assets, or ability to learn quickly.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Passion for the energy transition, and willingness to operate cross functionally in support of different business functions.
