Spotify’s Ads & Podcast FP&A team is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Analyst to support financial planning and analysis across our global advertising and podcast businesses. In this role, you’ll contribute to forecasting, reporting, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making while working closely with partners across Ad Sales, Content, Product, Accounting, and Insights.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain financial models to support monthly/quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning across Advertising revenue and content costs.
- Prepare financial guidance and performance materials for business leaders and Corporate FP&A, including detailed variance analyses.
- Support global advertising and podcast revenue forecasting across markets, including analysis of demand trends, pricing, inventory, and sales performance.
- Coordinate deal modeling and scenario analysis for new business initiatives, evaluating cost implications and impacts to the Spotify P&L
- Develop and automate reporting dashboards and data tools to track revenue performance, monetization trends, and key KPIs.
- Summarize monthly and quarterly performance, highlighting drivers, risks, and opportunities across all revenue streams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business strategies, product updates, and marketplace dynamics.
- Contribute to improvements in FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure as the business scales.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or similar analytical roles.
- Advanced Excel / Sheets skills and experience working with complex datasets.
- Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools is a plus.
- Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear insights.
- Organized, curious, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative teammate with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.

- This role is based in New York, NY
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come into the office 2-3 days per week.
The United States base range for this position is $67,172-$95,960, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays.
