Role Summary:
The candidate will support special projects and expense management activities across all categories of spend, including but not limited to Technology, Market Data, Marketing, Finance, and Legal. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, consulting, and expense management experience, with excellent communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint). Experience in sourcing, project management, and change management is highly beneficial. The role offers exposure to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers internally and externally.
- Analyze internal and external spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop related strategies.
- Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders and team members on various projects.
- Participate in both internal and external projects that align with organizational strategy.
- Contribute to the improvement and development of strategic, operational, and tactical sourcing processes.
- Coordinate discussions and reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead or assist in competitive bid evaluations and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis.
- Create executive summary presentations for senior management review.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong skills in problem identification, analysis, and resolution.
- Adaptable, flexible, and collaborative team player.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within a complex operating environment.
