About the Role
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be a key player in our growth strategy. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is passionate about sales, eager to learn, and ready to take their career to the next level. As an SDR at GridMate, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, engaging with potential customers, and setting the stage for successful sales conversions.
This role offers vertical mobility, providing a clear path for high performers to transition into an Account Executive position over time.
Responsibilities
● Conduct outbound prospecting through emails, calls, events and social media to generate qualified leads.
● Research and identify potential customers within the Salesforce ecosystem.
● Qualify inbound leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
● Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, ensuring consistent follow-ups.
● Work closely with the Revenue Operations team to strategize and optimize the sales pipeline.
● Leverage Salesforce CRM to track interactions, update lead statuses, and maintain accurate records.
● Stay up to date with industry trends and the Salesforce ecosystem to effectively communicate GridMate’s value proposition.
Requirements
● 1+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (experience in SaaS or Salesforce ecosystem is a plus).
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
● A proactive and persistent approach to sales, with the ability to handle objections and maintain resilience.
● Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
● Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, to track and manage sales activities.
● A passion for technology and a willingness to continuously learn about the Salesforce ecosystem and sales methodologies.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Goal-oriented mindset, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
