Software Engineer (Early Team Member)

We are a rapidly growing, well-funded startup building an innovative
AI-powered productivity tool for professional teams. We help users capture, organize, and utilize insights from their daily conversations, making every meeting more valuable. You'll be joining a small, high-impact team of experienced engineers as
employee #5 and play a crucial role in shaping our product and technical foundation.
This is an end-to-end engineering role where you will take ownership of features from conception to deployment. We're looking for a highly motivated and quality-focused individual who takes pride in their craft.
What You'll Do:
- Build new product features and user experiences across our web, desktop, and mobile applications. This includes everything from database models and API endpoints to complex UI components and video infrastructure
- Own and evolve core product foundations, including our AI-powered outcomes engine, search functionality, transcription services, on-device recording/streaming, performance optimization, and automation workflows
- Translate customer insights and feedback into tangible product improvements and new feature development
- Collaborate closely with the small founding team to discover new growth opportunities and build out the initial growth function of the product
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience building user-facing products, either professionally or through personal projects that had significant user adoption
- A strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail in all your work
- Proficiency with our core tech stack: React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Familiarity with database technologies, specifically Postgres
- Experience or strong interest in mobile development with React Native is a plus
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a bonus
- Must be willing to work on-site in our San Francisco office

Benefits
- Salary: $125,000 - $190,000 (depending on experience)
- Equity: 0.25% - 0.75%
