Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Designer, located in Miami, FL. The Designer will be responsible for creating and developing interior design concepts, collaborating with clients, and ensuring designs meet their functional and aesthetic needs. Daily tasks will include conceptualizing ideas, selecting materials and furnishings, preparing detailed drawings and presentations, and assisting in project management. The role will also involve coordinating with various stakeholders and consultants to ensure the seamless execution of design projects. This position is for a self starter and someone that takes the iniative in driving a project. This is a role is also for someone willing to manage their own drafting and 3d modelling tasks. Position is performance based and a candidate that meets or exceeds requirements can move into more senior roles.
Qualifications
- Interior Design, Space Planning, Architecture and Furniture Design skills
- Experience with CAD, Photoshop, VRAY and Rhino3d. Experience with Grasshopper is a plus.
- Project Management and Client Collaboration skills
- Knowledge of color theory, materials, and finishes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines. Being capable of developing complex details for working drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Experience in corporate, residential, or hospitality design is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Being professional and capable of working and collaborating with other staff members seamlessly.
- Understanding of building construction and the architecture process.
