We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Automation Analyst to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring professional to play a key role in our digital transformation. You will report directly to the Head of Finance Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) US and assist in the strategic implementation of automation and AI initiatives, helping us streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance our overall operational efficiency. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology, a knack for problem-solving, and a talent for turning complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
As Our Financial Analyst You Will
- Assist the Head of Finance CIB US in the development and execution of the finance department's automation strategy
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, from routine tasks like data entry to more complex financial reporting. Extend these automation efforts to support the Markets Treasury business by streamlining treasury financial reporting and enhancing efficiency
- Help in gathering, cleaning, and organizing financial data to ensure it is "automation-ready" and perform data analysis to identify trends, pinpoint insights, and uncover opportunities for strategic decision-making
- Be responsible for translating financial and operational data into easy-to-understand reports and presentations. Create compelling narratives from the data, highlighting key takeaways and recommendations for the leadership team
- Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of automation scripts and tools
- Work on projects that could involve automating invoice processing, expense report reconciliation, and financial statement generation
- Provide administrative and analytical support to the Head of Finance (CIB) and the broader finance team as needed, ensuring key projects stay on track
- Help create and update documentation for new automated processes and assist in training other team members on how to use new tools and systems
- Develop training materials and documentation specific, ensuring team members are equipped to utilize new tools and systems effectively
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, understanding of automation principles and Artificial Intelligence
- Passion for data and the ability to find a story within a dataset
- Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense) and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint) and familiarity with Excel
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate) or programming languages (like Python or SQL)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences is essential
