We have an exciting new software product launching in early 2026 that will change how businesses create and manage websites at scale. IMPORTANT NOTE:
- This is an in-person role, NOT a remote opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to develop web applications and internal tools
- Develop and optimize API endpoints, data models, and backend logic
- Assist with debugging, performance tuning, and testing new features
- Document code and follow consistent development practices
What You Bring
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software development or a related technical role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in object-oriented programming and REST APIs
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, sharding, queries, and optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with a small, agile team
- A drive to learn, adapt, and contribute to meaningful projects
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Preferred Knowledge
- Front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
- Basic understanding of PHP and WordPress backend architecture
- Confidence using the Linux shell, running bash commands, and writing shell scripts to automate tasks
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of network configurations, firewall rules, and CIDR notation
Bonus if You Have
- Experience running or analyzing Google Ads campaigns
- Experience with social media and website SEO optimization
- Hands-on social media management or content integration experience
- Familiarity with Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress website builders
- Experience with Docker, API integrations, or web automation
- A passion for both software development and creative marketing
- Excellent communication skills, as you will talk directly with clients
