Overview:
We’re partnering with a US-based Private Equity as they evolve their approach to value creation across a diverse portfolio of companies.
This role marks a shift in the operating team’s model — moving from functional specialists to strategic operators who combine commercial acumen with hands-on execution.
The fund is seeking an Interim Operating Partner / Transformation Leader capable of driving measurable growth, building scalable operating models, and rethinking how value is created across multiple portfolio assets.
Key Priorities & Responsibilities:
- Partner with portfolio leadership teams to define and execute transformation roadmaps aligned with the fund’s value creation plan.
- Drive go-to-market, commercial, and operational initiatives that accelerate top-line growth.
- Translate strategy into delivery — taking ideas from concept to execution.
- Introduce data-driven frameworks and consulting-style methodologies to structure execution across functions.
- Build trust and alignment across management teams, ensuring transformation efforts deliver measurable business impact.
- Report progress and outcomes to fund operating partners and senior investors.
Profile:
Cross-Functional Operator
- Background in go-to-market, sales operations, or marketing.
- Not necessarily a salesperson — but understands how to sell or enable sales growth.
Operational Execution Expertise
- Proven track record of turning ideas into tangible outcomes.
- Exposure to finance and strategy alongside delivery preferred.
Structured, Analytical Thinking
- Likely with consulting pedigree (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc.) or similar analytical approach.
- Comfortable applying frameworks and data to guide transformation in dynamic environments.
Change Impact & Leadership
- Evidence of leading cross-functional teams and delivering tangible business transformation.
Breadth of Business Model Exposure
- Experience across multiple business models (recurring revenue, hardware, services, etc.), demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
Requirements
- Must be US-based or hold valid US work authorisation (visa or equivalent).
- Previous experience within private equity, portfolio operations, or post-acquisition environments preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership presence.
