Your New Role…
The Concept Development Associate is responsible for supporting CNN Concept Development group. Working with editorial, advertising sales and Insights to help develop new revenue-driving cross-platform projects. Working with teams across multiple time zones, they will assist in liaising with CNN's commercial teams, including taking briefs, preparing pitches and developing proactive opportunities. With the Strategic Insights team, they will research and develop proposals for growth opportunities with new markets, new products and editorial projects.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Concept Development
- Works with the development team and content editors to develop revenue-driving concepts and story examples that are true to the CNN Brand and are highly integrated with unique, creative, doable executions.
- Develops engaging and innovative products for all platforms including linear, digital, mobile, and social.
- Ensure CNN’s standards are implemented across all projects and proposals.
Strategic Thinking
- Research digital media landscape, products, and regions to assess growth opportunity.
- Works closely with Strategic Insights team and ad sales in research projects, identifying areas of improvement for research output and information need.
- Is able to break down complex problems/tasks into manageable parts and allocates own time efficiently.
- Understands and utilizes project management tools and techniques to meet project deadlines.
- Processes paperwork and other information in a timely manner
- Demonstrates completeness and attention to detail.
- Follows up in an efficient manner.
Communication (Written and Verbal)
- Outstanding communication skills

Qualifications & Experience…
- A degree or equivalent
- Strong experience in digital media, geared towards features content.
- Experience developing projects within a content owner, commercial or agency environment.
- Experience researching and scoping digital projects.
- Experience collaborating with varied teams, ideally remote teams.
- Strong knowledge of digital media landscape, platforms, and markets
- A positive attitude with a creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving on the fly
- Ability to manage many projects simultaneously.
- Ability to get things done and deliver results.
- Fluent English
- Other languages are desirable but not required.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $51,520.00 - $95,680.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
