The Opportunity
Our location in
Irving, TX currently has an opportunity for an Associate Mechanical Engineer. The Associate Mechanical Engineer designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
What You’ll Work On
- Design and evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and devices applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and materials
- Provide mechanical engineering support of factory for existing products
- Conduct design analysis and testing, both structural and thermal, to prove design will meet customer requirements
- Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and testing properties
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with all regulations and quality expectations
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree and minimum 1 year of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- 0-2 years’ work experience from highly regulated manufacturing companies/industries, e.g., medical devices, Defense/Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, etc., in:
- Experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with Product Life Management software, e.g. Team Center, Windchill / CREO etc.
- Familiarity with document revision control process, engineering change notices (ECNs)
- Drawing interpretations/understanding of GDT

The base pay for this position is $50,000.00 – $100,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
