Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Data Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Data Solutions Department supporting strategic initiatives across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?
- Conduct extensive discovery work to understand current data flows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Analyze how various systems interact, come together, and connect, applying a systems analyst mindset.
- Utilize expert-level SQL skills to query and analyze data, supporting requirement gathering and data source mapping.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical staff to define and document data requirements for future state implementation.
- Work within cloud data models, particularly AWS data warehousing technologies, to support data migration and integration efforts.
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in SQL (ANSI SQL, Oracle, Snowflake) for data analysis and querying.
- Experience with AWS data warehousing technologies and understanding of cloud data models.
- Strong systems analyst mindset to understand system interactions and data flow complexities.
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience working with distributed systems and connecting multiple data sources effectively.
