Overview:
In this role, you will develop and execute a video content strategy for our clients’ social
media platforms, especially YouTube and Learning Management Programs. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all content aligns with overall brand
messaging and goals, analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy and
identify growth opportunities. In addition, you will engage with the public on all social
media platforms to increase our clients’ visibility and consumer engagement. This will
also serve as an opportunity to gain insight into consumer behavior and interest to
guide further content generation and sales needs.
Job Responsibilities Include:
● Research, curate and create visual assets for video platforms that inspire and build trust internally and externally.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices within the renewable energy, solar, and DIY sectors.
● Provide guidance on video themes, topics, and optimization techniques to maximize reach and engagement.
● Analyze video performance metrics and refine strategies to meet growth objectives.
● Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
● Work closely with the Marketing Division and our clients to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
● Source and transform ideas into compelling visual products by crafting stories, copy editing, storyboarding, setting up shots, editing, color grading, developing, and shooting materials.
● Understand and be able to perform all aspects of production from concept creation development through post production.
● Modify and edit existing visual assets or create new ones to promote content in other channels.
● Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement and related aesthetic concepts.
● Work with the integrated marketing team to establish a streamlined pre- and post-production process.
● Develop and manage a library of visual assets and content to help you and others locate appropriate assets from our growing inventory.
● Create and manage processes for requesting new visual assets as well as using assets from the existing inventory.
● Monitor and engage with the public on social media in a company related consumer facing capacity, including answering questions, following-up requests and more.
● Explain the thinking behind creative asset strategies and decisions and share best practices with team members.
● Operate various types of equipment including but not limited to cinematic cameras, digital still cameras, lighting and audio equipment and Adobe Suite.
● Other related duties as assigned.
● Travel: Less than 25%
Physical Demands:
● This position mainly works in an office environment and requires long periods of sitting and working on a computer.
● The ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds is required.
● This is an on-site position.
Compensation:
Pay for this role ranges from $50,000 - $70,000 per year, and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.
There is an expectation of a consistent 40 hour work week with 5 days a week worked regularly.
