Responsibilities

Summary : The VP, Architecture is a strategic leadership role focused on shaping and advancing the organization's technology vision. The VP oversees the design and deployment of scalable and secure digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include setting technical strategies, managing architecture teams, establishing standards, assessing new technologies, and guiding high-quality product delivery. The role requires cross-departmental collaboration, risk management, regulatory compliance, and optimizing technology investments.

Responsibilities:

Shape and advance the organization's technology vision in alignment with business objectives.
Oversee the design and deployment of scalable and secure digital solutions.
Set and maintain the overall technical architecture strategy for the digital and the company.
Manage architecture teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Establish and enforce architecture standards and best practices across projects.
Assess and recommend new and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Guide the delivery of high-quality digital products and solutions.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to optimize technology investments and initiatives.
Ensure risk management processes and regulatory compliance are integrated into technology decisions.
Demonstrate exemplary leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, adapting to the evolving digital landscape.
May assume other duties as applied.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Extensive experience in developing and executing technical strategies for digital transformation.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage architecture teams with a focus on collaboration and professional development.
Expertise in establishing, documenting, and enforcing architecture standards and best practices across multiple projects.
Strong knowledge of evaluating, adopting, and integrating new and emerging technologies to foster innovation.
Demonstrated skill in guiding the delivery of high-quality digital solutions and products from conception to launch.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to maximize technology investments and drive organizational success.
Thorough understanding risk management, regulatory compliance, and integrating these considerations into technology decisions.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to rapidly changing digital environments.
Experience in project management, including organizing, planning, executing, and evaluating complex technology initiatives.
Analytical mindset with strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail, ensuring robust and scalable architectural solutions.
Strong presentation skills with proven ability to present technology strategy to ELT/ BoD.

Preferred Skills:

Architecture certifications as applicable.

Physical Role Requirements : Be seated at a computer intermittently for up to eight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motions using hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred

Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role) : 12+ years of relevant experience required
