Overview

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and disciplined freelance graphic designer, who enjoys working on a broad array of projects with considerable creative freedom. This individual will be required to complete a wide variety of print and digital design projects, both large and small, for a wide variety of clients.

This position is a freelance design opportunity and would be performed remotely (ideally a resident of Minnesota). Attending some virtual meetings during normal business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm CST) will be required. In-person meetings, customer visits/activities may occasionally be requested, but not required. Often, quick turnaround (sometimes same day) projects may be requested. Responsive communication and on-time project delivery is essential for success in this position.

The estimated starting workload for this individual is 10-40 hours per month.

Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for working on a variety of projects, which include, but are not limited to:

Production design - reformat existing designs to various sizes and formats, prepare files for print, etc.

Illustrative design - such as iconography, artwork and other visual elements used in marketing campaigns

Print design - including product labels/packaging, print ads, direct mail, marketing/sales collateral, presentations, business cards, letterhead, etc.

Digital design - including display ads, emails, social media content, infographics, graphics, etc.

Website design - create layouts and designs for individual website pages/landing pages and complete websites

Work with Art Director to develop a vision for each project and manifest it in your work

Qualifications

Ideal qualifications for this position are:

Minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Adobe Design Suite

Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills

Great attention to detail

English proficiency

Comfortable working with deadlines, and on multiple projects at the same time

Ability to complete assignments with minimal oversight and supervision

Video/Photo editing skills is a plus

Previous agency experience preferred
