Overview
Piepho Moving & Storage, Inc. seeks a motivated and charismatic individual to prospect opportunities and produce bookings across Consumer and Office Moving Services. The position will have both telephone and personal contact with the customer. Networking to develop self-generated business and effective management of company provided leads are keys to success. Some evening and weekend hours are expected to meet the needs of our customers.
The position is responsible for covering a sales territory for our Rochester, MN and La Crosse, WI locations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Actively manage new and existing leads resulting in booking appointments and sales
- Live meetings with customers focusing on estimating, pricing, and brand differentiation resulting in closing the sale
- Follow up effectively with potential customers to maintain a high closing ratio
- Prospecting and intensive networking to identify and develop new business
Qualifications:
- Work experience in the moving industry, real estate, or outside sales beneficial
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong sense of resilience and desire to work in a fast paced environment
