  JOB SUMMARY
 
 
 
  Primarily responsible for defining processes and equipment that will meet stated customer and quote requirements. In support of this responsibility, the Process Engineer will keep a schedule of his projects, manage timelines, and report timelines to the Quality Manager, Engineering Manager, Production, Sales Manager, Customer Service, and appropriate salesperson. The Process Engineer will coordinate with internal fabrication and external fabrication to meet goals. The Process Engineer will aid Production in troubleshooting and documentation of processes. The Process Engineer will also assist the Maintenance Manager in the repair of equipment as needed
 
 
 
  DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
 
 
  
   - Develop, improve, or customize products, equipment, processes or analytical methods for solutions to technical problems.
   - Conduct quality control tests.
   - Conducts research on manufactured products to develop and improve products.
   - Train personnel in procedures related to processes
   - Prepare process solutions
   - Compile and analyze test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency or to diagnose malfunctions.
   - Write technical papers or reports, or prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, or tests.
   - Aid in the repair and/or design of automated equipment
 
 
 
  Requirements
 
 
 
  - Associate Degree in any engineering discipline
- BS Degree or working towards a BS degree in an engineering discipline
- Experience in Rubber and/or Plastic molding a plus, but not required
- Experience in Automation equipment design/repair a plus, but not required
  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
 
 
  Occasionally: reach above shoulder with both hands, lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
 
 
  Frequently: lift upward with both arms outstretched, count and calculate, communicate details
 
 
  Constantly: stand, reach outward with both hands, handle/finger, wrist, and elbow flexion, rotation, and articulation
 
 
  Other: Near point vision, sense of touch, tolerance for temperature in a non-controlled environment
