RePower Electric Corp will replace the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) transmission, exhaust system, and all associated fluid driven ancillary components with our Industry Leading, high density EV Battery Pack, Electric Motor, and drive system. Our integrated EV controls and dashboard will provide real-time operator information such as State of Charge, Regeneration levels, speed, and more.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The job will involve a lot of product support.
The role will involve taking products from concept to production.
Responsibilities will include research and development, design and construction of models and proof-of-concept mechanisms, design and testing of products, collaboration with electrical engineers on electrical components and related design considerations, creation of part and assembly drawings, communication with part suppliers, development of production quality check lists and test procedures, and support of new and legacy products in production. Will participate in the hands-on development of prototype products, systems and vehicles
Qualifications:
· Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience
· SolidWorks CAD software experience with an emphasis on Sheet Metal, Large assembly highly recommended
· 3D Printing experience
· Demonstrated FEA experience
· GD&T proficient
· PDM familiarity
· ERP familiarity
· QMS familiarity
· Prefer EV experience, other automotive and mechanical experience considered
· Machining & Injection Molding experience a plus
Must be self-motivated, able to manage responsibilities with limited oversight, and willing to work extra hours occasionally, if needed, to meet deadlines.
