Freelance Photo Retoucher

Join a dynamic creative team in the retail and ecommerce industry as a Freelance Photo Retoucher. This role focuses on enhancing and perfecting digital images for use across various online platforms, including ecommerce websites, email campaigns, and other digital channels. You will collaborate closely with photography, styling, and product development teams to maintain high-quality post-production standards and visual consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and retouch digital photography assets using professional software such as Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Enhance images by adjusting resolution, composition, tone, color, saturation, brightness, and cropping to meet brand guidelines.
- Perform complex retouching tasks including adding or removing objects and integrating additional elements into images.
- Review and prepare images for ecommerce platforms, ensuring final product accuracy with approvals from product development and sales teams.
- Manage a daily workload of approximately 20+ images with varying levels of complexity.
- Upload and maintain organized image libraries using cloud-based platforms such as Dropbox and SharePoint.
- Collaborate effectively with photographers, stylists, designers, and cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth project workflows.
- Maintain visual consistency across all product imagery and adhere to cropping and formatting specifications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support creative and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or BFA in Photography, Graphic Design, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
- Proven expertise in photo editing and retouching with proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple images and projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
