Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our Accounting and Finance Team at our Mableton, Georgia facility. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with a strong foundation in accounting and finance to gain hands-on experience and grow into a future leadership position.
The ideal candidate will have some practical experience or internship background in accounting or finance and a desire to develop expertise in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the CFO with day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Prepare and post journal entries; perform reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities
- Help prepare internal financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Support cost accounting and inventory valuation activities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and internal control procedures
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to provide financial data and insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Internship or up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis required)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- A motivated, proactive approach with a desire to learn and advance
