Role Summary: We are seeking a Software Engineer to spearhead the development of our robotic systems. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, overseeing system integration, and ensuring seamless coordination across all project facets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate into the engineering team focused on building life saving robotics tools for DOD.
- Develop and implement algorithms for real-time localization. – Specifics given on application.
- Design and optimize path planning algorithms for autonomous navigation. – Specifics given on application.
- Oversee system integration between hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with international teams to align project goals and timelines. Australia and UK.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to navigation systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in navigation system development. – desired.
- Proven leadership and team management skills. – must have.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of sensor fusion and real-time processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with autonomous vehicles or UGVs.
- Knowledge of path planning algorithms.
- Familiarity with international project coordination.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
