on-site and reports to our office in Syosset, NY.
Job Summary
As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services and will work closely with the Sales Team, Business Manager and other internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include assisting with proposal and contract preparation and collaborating with the Operations Department to ensure clear and efficient communication between office staff, technicians, vendors, and customers. You will also be a main point of contact for incoming customer inquiries.
Salary Range 
$24.00 per hour - $28.00 per hour
Hours
Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 05:00pm
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Department by drafting and tracking proposals and contracts
 - Monitor product orders and project tracking
 - Follow up with team members and clients on outstanding documents and deadlines
 - Collaborate with the Accounting Team regarding invoicing to identify and resolve discrepancies
 - Submit deposit requests and track incoming payments
 - Respond to calls and emails from clients and resolve or appropriately route their inquiries
 - Provide extensive administrative support, such as data entry, record keeping and reporting
 - Collaborate with the Business Manager on internal process improvement to support cross-team coordination
 
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent credits toward a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
 - Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
 - Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
 - High attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Sales, Marketing or Communications
 
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in an office environment. Employee may be subject so some lifting up to 10lbs.
