You will be part of a dedicated team that designs and builds immersive entertainment experiences that challenges our 170,000+ annual guests both physically and mentally. Your work will focus on painting and will include both retouching/restoring existing artistic painting, creating new artwork, and basic painting (e.g. repairing wall damage). You will also learn how to do move Quest fixes, which will involve using various power tools. Other tasks may be assigned based on the needs of the business.
Core Responsibilities
- Painting, which includes a range of artistic and basic work
- Collaborate within a team, being both creative and practical in an intense and time-focused environment.
- Maintain the Quests and facility
- Research and execute new and existing techniques, props, and processes to create immersive elements.
- Materials inventory (ordering, tracking, etc.)
- Train other team members as needed.
- Coordinate outside vendors with internal projects.
About Boda Borg Boston
Boda Borg Boston is a destination entertainment business in which small teams attempt to conquer mentally and physically challenging Quests. Each Quest is an immersive experience of two to four themed rooms, each with its own challenge. Designing and building Quests is an integral part of our business.
Schedule
40+ hours. Generally Mon - Fri. but occasional weekend/evening hours based on project needs
