Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical aspiring Residential Appraiser Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating properties to determine their market value, utilizing various appraisal methods and techniques. You will be inspecting properties as well as compiling reports for a variety of lenders. While prior real estate experience is a bonus, it is not required.

Those who have completed the 75 hour Appraiser Trainee Course will be given preference.

Conduct thorough property evaluations using various appraisal methodologies.
Collect and analyze data related to property values, market trends, and comparable sales.
Prepare detailed financial reports that summarize findings and support valuation conclusions.
Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and data visualization purposes.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws during the appraisal process.
Collaborate with construction professionals to assess property conditions and improvements.
Perform quantitative research to support valuation decisions and enhance reporting accuracy.
Utilize various appraisal software platforms for data management, analysis, and reporting tasks.

Experience

Proven experience in real estate appraisal or a related field is preferred.
Strong background in accounting, financial analysis, or tax experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in math and quantitative research methods is essential for accurate valuations.
