What We’re Looking For:
- Location: Must live in the greater Richmond, VA area. This is not a remote role—regular onsite client visits are required but work from home is allowed on days without customer appointments.
- Consulting Mindset: You’ll be working for a professional services company. All engineers must track and document their time daily for client billing.
- Detail-Oriented: Precise documentation of every aspect of a client’s network is essential. You’ll keep records up to date as environments change.
- MSP Experience: Prior experience in the Managed Service Provider space is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
- Design and manage Azure cloud solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Implement and maintain Hyper V virtualization platforms.
- Ensure robust network security across all systems and endpoints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow company standards.
- Participate in group projects and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years in IT Networking Support (required)
- 3+ years working with Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments (required)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (required)
