Lead the electrical maintenance team at a beverage cans manufacturing facility; provide knowledge and training so the team can perform its functions at a high level; improve the efficiency, spoilage and quality results of all production processes; develop safety improvements; develop new tools for measuring performance, spoilage and consumption. Requires Associate's or higher degree in Management, Business, Engineering or a closely related field and three years of experience in job offered or as Electrical & Electronic Maintenance Supervisor, Senior Production Supervisor, or Plant Superintendent, or in similar position(s) in the metal beverage packaging industry. Background in education, training or experience must include advanced knowledge of the metal can making process; experience with can making troubleshooting; supervisory experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment; experience in a high-volume production plant; demonstrated ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance assessments; demonstrated excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills; demonstrated ability to maintain employee relations; demonstrated ability to identify specific problems through the production line that are reducing the production; experience managing a team; proven effective negotiation and influencing skills; experience with cost reduction, avoidance policy, and procedure development. Approximately 10% travel required to attend meetings, visit plants, and provide tech support; travel may be domestic or international.
