Junior Account Success Manager
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid – In-office 3 days/week)
Travel: 50% travel required
Compensation: $95,000 base salary + up to 50% bonus + equity
Engagement: Contract-to-hire (W-9 to start, converted to W-2)

About the Role
We are seeking an Account Success Manager to lead the delivery and ongoing optimization of
our university and workforce partner platforms. This role blends product development, client
success, and operational coordination. You will oversee onboarding new institutional partners
and managing vendor workstreams to support product refreshes and reporting performance
outcomes. You will be a key player in ensuring MCC consistently delivers a high-quality
experience and measurable impact to our partners.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Service Delivery
● Work with the Product Team to ensure that the build, implementation, and updates of
partner websites and marketing materials are delivered to client satisfaction.
● Oversee KPIs and service-level agreements tied to rentals, purchases, and delivery
performance.
● Lead semesterly product refresh cycles for all institutional partners.
Client Onboarding & Launch
● Own the post-sale onboarding process with institutional clients.
● Schedule and lead kickoff calls, track project progress, and manage delivery timelines.
Sales and Business Development
● Constantly engage with clients, to identify their needs and seek to solve them to
maintain a high service level
● Identify opportunities to expand contracts (upsell, new product sales, and contract
expansion through other programs and schools within the university network)
● Work with the Business Development team to pitch the client and expand revenue
● Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement based on partner
input.
Client Success & Customer Service
● Serve as the main point of contact for university and workforce clients.
Required Qualifications
● Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
● Demonstrated account management and sales experience (3-5 years).
● Exceptional communication, client-facing, and problem-solving skills.
● Comfortable with a fast-paced, mission-driven environment involving frequent travel.
Key Performance Indicators
● 95% customer retention rate
● 95% contract renewal rate
● 50% YoY contract expansion rate
● Minimum 85% client satisfaction (based on formal survey results)
