The Worldwide Events Team is seeking a well-rounded and highly creative Event Experiential Designer to support our Design & Fabrication team. This Team works with several teams across the company to bring Apple’s iconic brand and products to life for audiences around the world. From new product launches and keynotes to live productions and hands on experiences, the Design & Fabrication team is responsible for fostering design throughout the entire guest journey.

As an Event Experiential Designer, you’ll collaborate with the team to conceptualize and develop bespoke fixtures, spatial layouts, and experiential activations from start to finish. We’re seeking an energetic, driven, passionate, and enthusiastic individual who can excel in their role.
","responsibilities":"Stay up to date on emerging new trends in events, social, and brand activations to contribute to brainstorms and concept ideation.
Gather inspiration images, create mood boards, and help to build out presentation-ready decks.
Support creating compelling layouts & floor plans that consider the entire guest journey from start to finish.
Conceptualize and create to-scale elevations & 3D renders based on an event brief.
Research and specify new furniture and materials for long-term and immediate event needs.
Collaborate with multiple internal partners and vendors from design-to-build fabrication and scenic implementation for events and filmed projects.
Contribute to ongoing meetings with key vendor partners and cross-functional partners and follow up with action items.
Assist in creating presentation decks for leadership that convey concepts and have a strong point of view.
Preferred Qualifications
A background in design, experience in space planning and furniture selection depending on the overall brief and event aesthetic.
An understanding of the content creator audience and what makes a space engaging and fit for content capture.
Proficiency in the Adobe suite and have the ability to edit and enhance your renders using tools like Photoshop.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to visually communicate your ideas through slides and presentations.
Attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle ambiguity with grace.
Experience in reading and laying out 2D CAD floor plans and the ability to understand scale and space.
Willing to travel both domestic & international and be on-site event and load-in/out over weekends, as needed.
You understand the fixture and scenic fabrication process and have the ability to value engineer design and material specifications to honor budgets.
You are comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and are able to communicate timelines across various deliverables both internally and externally.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years experience within a top creative agency environment and/ or high-end fabrication and production company.
Experience in SketchUp, Rhino and/or other 3D modeling & rendering tools to create realistic renders for visualization.
Proficiency in Mac, Keynote, Numbers and other collaboration tools.
A portfolio with previous projects and work samples.
