Onsite Project Controller
General Summary: Works directly with the project manager to create and maintain a project’s budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the work schedules, and recommend actions to improve progress.
Essential Functions:
- Track and monitor project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure financial control.
- Maintain accurate project files and produce reports as needed or requested.
- Effectively communicate project(s) status to project managers.
- Interact with clients and customers as needed.
- Support the development of project schedules and integrate with cost plans.
- Coordinate with the finance and accounting teams during billing cycles, audits, and month-end close.
- Analyze performance data, including project costs, revenue, margins, budgets, and variances.
- Develop risk mitigations and contingency planning.
- Continuously looks for ways to improve results or outcomes to increase customer satisfaction and decrease the bottom line.
- Work with project team to create and maintain project schedule.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Project Management, or similar, combined with experience to manage a set of varying quantities and sizes of projects. Minimum of 5 years of controlling projects. Expert in computer usage, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software, and the Internet.

Environment: Regular work schedules. However, overtime may be required if necessary to complete projects or specialized training. This position works majority in a climate-controlled office. Occasional travel, including overnight, may be required. Occasionally wears site-required PPE.
Physical: This position is defined as Light. Work involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally using any combination of body, hands, fingers, arms, legs, or feet to complete work. Walking and standing, and sitting to a significant degree.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
