Myticas Consulting is looking for an IP Resident Engineer- Resource that will work closely with customer technical team and will be responsible for designing and developing network architectures and IP services on customer network, creating and executing implementation and migration plans, documenting node configurations, testing and supporting in various deployment stages, providing recommendations to optimize network operations and performance, and collaborating with customer and internal technical teams to enhance product placement and features for reliability, availability, and serviceability.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent practical work experience.
- IP networking knowledge: MPLS services, IGP (ISIS,OSPF) and BGP protocols, Segment Routing, Traffic Engineering.
- Expertise troubleshooting, monitoring, and configuring the noted IP networking protocols.
- Experience in QoS implementation/testing; familiarity with testing tools like Spirent and IXIA.
- Modern Data Center networking design and operations including CLOS networks, Underlay and Overlay technologies, and the networking integration to virtualization platforms – k8s, Openstack and VMWare.
