Responsibilities:
- Drive and execute VCA strategy across the Caribbean countries, focus in PR, proactively capitilizing on regional opportunities in market.
- Lead consulting initatives and contribute to closing engagement by identifying potential opportunities through scoping the asscociated engagement.
- Deploy frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges.
- Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation, sales) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources.
- Build new solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting approach that can be applied across VCA practice.
- Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the payment P&L.
- Qualifications
- 5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…).
- 5+ years’ experience working in the payments industry, preferably managing cards portfolios or relevant experience at payments management in consulting firms
- Demonstrated experience in strategy / management consulting; with proven project deliveries and expertise in consulting methodologies
- Project management skills are a key requirement given that this role involves managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations
- Excellent client relationship management skills (on senior executive level and across all levels of an organization) and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor and show thought leadership
- Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization
- Knowledge of payment schemes, including products, processes, cards lifecycle management
- Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
