Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer I provides hands-on engineering support to ensure efficient production, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating across teams, and applying technical knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the transition of new products into manufacturing by driving efficient process scale-up.
- Design and perform experiments using DOE principles, analyze data, and document results to establish process specifications.
- Develop, test, and refine manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to develop and implement process improvements.
- Write standard operating procedures and work instructions to transfer processes from Engineering to Production.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related Engineering field; or Associate degree with at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- 0–3 years of mechanical design or manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, manufacturing methods, and process troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances.
- Experience with FEA, CFD, or CAE tools a plus.
- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring attention to detail and adherence to all safety protocols.

The salary range for this position starts at $66,500. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
