Overview
We're looking for a highly organized and creative Brand Coordinator, Merchandising to join our growing onsite team in our Austin HQ! This role will be the go-to for all branded merchandise and print production process across teams.
You'll bring brand moments to life through high-quality apparel, event assets, giveaways, and retail materials that align with Bloom's aesthetic and business goals. This role owns the process end-to-end: ideation, vendor sourcing, production management, sample review, and fulfillment coordination. Responsibilities
Merchandising & Brand Production
- Own all branded merchandise projects from concept through delivery, including apparel, field uniforms, giveaways, pop-up merch, influencer gifts, and evergreen wearables.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all merch and print requests across departments, ensuring alignment on brand standards, budget, and timelines.
- Manage ideation, sourcing, costing, mock-ups, approvals, and production for all merch items.
- Proactively manage long-lead sourcing timelines (3+ months) for international vendors and anticipate seasonal and campaign-based needs.
- Build and maintain a consolidated merch tracker with project details, costs, and vendor status updates.
- Ensure brand consistency across all merch and event assets, from product packaging to field activations.
Vendor & Production Management
- Build and manage strategic relationships with merch and print vendors to secure best-in-class pricing, reliability, and turnaround times.
- Maintain house accounts and a preferred vendor list to create cost and production efficiencies.
- Negotiate rates, timelines, and production specs while ensuring quality control and brand consistency.
- Streamline the sampling and feedback process to ensure timely approvals.
- Partner with the creative team to provide production expertise during design development and optimize for print and fabrication.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Brand, Creative, Project Management, Field, and Partnerships teams to align on campaign timelines and upcoming needs.
- Coordinate closely with the Inventory Coordinator to ensure product availability, shipment alignment, and event fulfillment.
- Partner with the Field Team on asset and uniform distribution, ensuring consistent brand presentation and access to inventory.
- Collaborate with PR, influencer, and social teams to identify merch and print needs that enhance campaign storytelling and press opportunities.
- Participate in department-specific briefing sessions and creative review meetings to align on strategy and execution.
Process, Systems & Reporting
- Create a streamlined process for merch and print requests, including standardized templates for briefs, approvals, and vendor communication.
- Maintain visibility across production timelines with proactive status updates and clear escalation paths for any at-risk deadlines.
- Contribute to development of an internal "storefront" or standardized routing protocol for ordering product, merch, and event materials.
- Help establish dashboards or weekly reports summarizing inventory availability, project status, and vendor performance.
- Partner with the PM team to track costs, manage POs, and report on spend and efficiency gains.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in merchandising, production coordination, or brand marketing (CPG, lifestyle, or creative agency background preferred).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects from concept through execution.
- Strong understanding of vendor sourcing, production timelines, and cost management.
- Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in print and merch production, packaging design, or event branding a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, and project management tools (Monday, Asana, etc.).
- A creative eye with a passion for details, timelines, and maintaining brand consistency.
- Excited to work onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
