In this Non Profit Engagement Associate role, every day you’ll actively engage with potential supporters, spark meaningful conversations, and present our programs in ways that inspire action. You'll learn sales skills, including how to prospect new supporters, follow up with leads, and track engagement metrics to optimize results. Every interaction is an opportunity to build relationships, exceed fundraising goals, and develop professional skills in sales, negotiation, and customer engagement — all while making a tangible impact in the community.
Daily Duties of the Non Profit Engagement Associate:
- Actively engage with potential supporters through in-person interactions, introducing the charity's mission in a compelling, persuasive way
- Prospect and qualify new supporters, track leads, and follow up consistently to maximize engagement and contributions
- Collaborate with fellow Non Profit Engagement Associates to develop and implement strategies for meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Track engagement metrics, provide regular updates, and analyze results to continuously improve outreach approaches
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including training in sales techniques and donor engagement strategies
- Support Senior Non Profit Engagement Associate in planning and executing campaigns, learning the fundamentals of sales management and team leadership
Key Attributes of the Non Profit Engagement Associate:
- Previous experience in sales, fundraising, customer service, or community outreach is a plus, but not required
- Energetic, outgoing, and highly motivated with a passion for building relationships and making a positive impact
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets
- Demonstrated ability to listen actively, adapt messaging, and build trust quickly with new individuals
- Interest in sales, fundraising, customer engagement, and growing in a career as a Non Profit Engagement Associate
- Willingness to learn, grow professionally, and take on increasing responsibilities, including potential leadership opportunities
