Financial firm in the western suburbs is currently seeking a Trader for our Separate Managed Accounts (SMA) /Variable Insurance Trusts (VIT) and assist in the maintenance of model portfolios.
Duties include but are not limited to: routing of equity trades; modeling and trade generation for client portfolios as needed based on cash flows; preparing and executing trade files for various SMA platforms and VIT funds; maintaining SMA strategy models in Bloomberg; rebalancing various funds and SMA accounts; assisting with special projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager; other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field; Series 7; a strong attention to detail; the ability to work independently and in a group setting; the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Bloomberg’s trading system.
