Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with financial software and accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS. The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in analyzing profit & loss statements, preparing financial reports, and interpreting complex financial data to inform business strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts, providing insights for management decision-making.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance standards.
- Assist in cost accounting initiatives to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Analyze financial data related to sales performance, pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and profitability metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for accurate financial analysis and reporting.
- Interpret complex financial statements and concepts to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of organizational financial strategies through detailed analysis of financial trends and market conditions.
- Maintain organized documentation of all financial reports, analysis, and supporting data for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience in corporate finance, public accounting, or a similar role with a focus on financial analysis or FP&A functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with financial software tools such as Excel (advanced functions), ERP systems, or specialized FP&A software.
- Experience with financial report writing, budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles and profit & loss management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as valuation techniques, investment analysis, pricing strategies, and regulatory reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
