Position Summary:
The Production Engineer supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, executing preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, and maintaining calibration schedules. This role partners closely with maintenance, quality, and production teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document preventative maintenance (PM) on production equipment, utilities, and support systems.
- Conduct equipment calibrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all instruments remain within defined tolerances.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment uptime, process reliability, and product quality.
- Assist with root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and equipment performance optimization.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and calibration documentation in accordance with GMP and FDA regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to support production readiness and resolve equipment-related deviations.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a GMP or FDA-regulated environment (pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or related).
- Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance (PM) and calibration of production equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with equipment reliability programs, CMMS systems, and calibration tools.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (preferred but not required).
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,079.20 per year
