The Alexander Technology Group is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to join an Investment Management firm in Boston MA. Candidates must have experience within Financial Services and a technical foundation to liaise between engineering and investment professionals. The Role
- Work as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Extract, analyze, document and validate requirements for business needs and technical solutions
- Work with product manager to develop, refine and enhance product requirements
- Act as a leader in evaluating and modernizing investment operation platforms
- Manage product pipeline to design investment operation solutions
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years of experience in financial asset management and technology.
- ETF (Exchange Traded Funds) and Passive Index Management expertise
- SQL experience: Advanced Queries, Tables and Joins
- Jira, Agile and SDLC Methodologies
- IBOR (Investment Book of Records) understanding
- Financial data management and investment data analysis
- Experience contributing to product data architecture
- Ability to identity areas of improvement within investment technology
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to liaise between technology and investment teams
