Financial Analyst

Compensation: $75-95K + Bonus
One of Vaco's legacy Fortune 100 clients is looking to bring on board a Financial Analyst as part of continued growth of the company. We've placed multiple folks across their finance team and have received great feedback so far, particularly on growth and promotional opportunity, as several have already moved into senior-level positions. Analysts will be working closely with the commercial team and investor relations, assisting with long-range forecasting and Excel modeling.

Role:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying key trends and variances.
- Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to provide financial support and insight.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards and reports for management review.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist with preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and executive reports.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial analyses and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Workday) preferred.
