Pay Rate: $70-$80/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week; possible OT)

Job Summary:The Financial Analyst will support high-visibility, cross-functional regulatory reporting initiatives with a focus on FR-Y15 reporting, capital markets data, and process improvement. This role requires strong analytical ability, regulatory knowledge, and the capability to develop detailed business requirements while collaborating with technology and data teams. The analyst will work in a dynamic environment and contribute to enhancing reporting accuracy, control frameworks, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare business requirements and functional specifications to support Finance regulatory reporting system changes, particularly the FR-Y15 report.
Ensure requirements are complete, logical, and actionable for application development teams (Axiom or related tools).
Analyze data at its source and understand relationships across the general ledger and data warehouse.
Manage all phases of testing and reconciliation back to source data.
Develop interim solutions addressing regulatory reporting challenges.
Review regulatory reporting outputs against risk reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Evaluate system data flows, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with Data Group Office to document, prioritize, and resolve data quality issues.
Identify and analyze internal control weaknesses related to reporting; perform root cause analysis on Axiom-related issues.
Support process improvement initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency and control.

Required Experience:

10+ years of financial, regulatory, or accounting experience.
Understanding of business risks and internal controls.
Detailed knowledge of U.S. regulatory reporting objectives and structure.
5+ years assessing/escalating sensitive issues, performing root cause analysis, and developing corrective measures.
3+ years experience with capital markets products.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to document results.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

Familiarity with Axiom development lifecycle methodologies.
Experience with FR-Y15 reporting.
CPA certification preferred.
Experience supporting large banking or capital markets environments.
