Location: Baltimore, MD
Pay Range: $20 - $21/hr
Contract: 6–12+ months (Potential for Extension/Permanent Placement)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (Required)
What We’re Looking For
Our client is seeking recent graduates with a background in finance and some hands-on experience—whether through internships, coursework, or early professional roles—who are eager to contribute and grow in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost analysis and review of financial programs and operations.
- Support the evaluation of financial status by comparing actual results against forecasts.
- Help perform month-end valuations and reporting for assigned client funds.
- Conduct basic research on offshore and domestic fund options.
- Assist in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies with proper documentation.
- Prepare and update profit and loss (P&L) models under guidance from senior team members.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related discipline
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general financial systems/tools preferred
