McKenna & Associates advises clients on strategic business and M&A matters arising at the intersection of capital markets, regulation, and policy. Scope of Work:
· Support strategy advisory engagements in diverse industries.
· Work collaboratively in teams of typically 3 - 5 associates to identify and implement solutions for a specific client problem or challenge.
· Prepare materials and brief C-Level executives at Fortune 100 companies.
· Analyze complex problems and take action to solve them.
· Support business development, project management and manage internal processes.
· Synthesize complex information into clear pathways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods that move people and organizations to act.
· Structure and conduct market research and analysis to support client engagements and business development.
· Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations.
· Support due diligence, that may include quantitative and qualitative market analysis and financial modeling.
· Establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations.
· Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values.
· Minimal to short term travel assignments.
Qualifications:
· Undergraduate degree and 2+ years of professional experience in management consulting, commercial due diligence, investment analysis, strategy, corporate development, or a related analytical role.
· Trained in consulting and business strategy methodologies/ frameworks.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team with people at all levels of an organization.
· Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project.
· Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct independent research, and synthesize complex information.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
· Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
· Superior writing proficiency and strong oral communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Detail oriented, dependable, self-motivated.
