COMPANY & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Artaic is a unique design and manufacturing firm based in historic Charlestown. Artaic produces “mass customized” tile mosaics for a wide variety of applications, primarily within the commercial architecture and interior design industry with a focus on hospitality, corporate, healthcare, education and residential sectors. Artaic is inventing and applying a proprietary, partially automated system of front-end design software linked to back-end inventory management and robotic fabrication. This system allows for revolutionary efficiency in mosaic production.

THE POSITION
Artaic has an opportunity to support and grow its national sales organization with aggressive sales initiatives, a responsive sales focus, and strategic development of rapidly evolving sales channels and markets.
We are seeking someone with experience in or proven interest around the fields of interior design, art, architectural finishings, and/or custom manufacturing. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, Sales & Design Associate to lead and execute a range of sales activities to handle our growing opportunities across channels. The role works closely with our CEO, President, VP of Sales, Marketing Coordinator, and Design/Project Services Team.
The ideal candidate would have a track record of success as an individual producer and experience selling custom products and/or design services. We need someone who can attack a steady lead funnel, grow a book of business and develop new opportunities. This is a unique position for someone looking to advance their career in a sales role grounded in interior design consultation and project management.
The role involves developing relationships with designers at architecture and design firms nationally in order to win project specifications. The candidate must be able to aggressively implement sales strategies that measurably impact revenue in the environment of a fast-growing innovation-oriented company. This includes leveraging automation for personalized outreach. Importantly, this role is supported by an awesome team of professionals who are passionate about putting remarkable beauty out into the world every day. OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Sell, manage and develop a book of business across key markets in the U.S. and internationally.
● Personally sell and manage key accounts through virtual product presentations, digital business development outreach, and a client-centric approach.
● Have exemplary organization and time management skills with the ability to attract and retain new clients while maintaining existing accounts
● Boston-based, in the design and manufacturing studio in Charlesrtown.
● Be a recognizable leader for the company internally and externally by representing and promoting Artaic within the industry, including a robust social media presence.
● Carefully balancing available time and resources to manage a lead funnel and CRM centralized sales pipeline through qualification, nurturing and closing of opportunities.
● Coordinate with the marketing coordinator to develop and implement tactical direct marketing plans, lead follow-up, collateral, media, programs with appropriate brand positioning, and provide feedback for design collections and enhancements.
● Liaise with the Project Services and Production department to ensure timely sample requests, delight the client with renderings, and ensure that projects are delivered to meet and exceed client expectations.
● Compensation is directly tied to your success in quoting and closing sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
● 3-5 years experience in sales, preferably in the architectural and design industry or a related field.
● Creative, entrepreneurial, go-getter mentality with an aptitude for modern data-driven sales and marketing techniques.
● Ability to manage and scale a sales pipeline and contribute meaningful growth to a sales organization.
● Strong communication skills (written and verbal, in-person and virtual).
● Experience physically and virtually presenting sales and marketing collateral, product & process features, and company presentations.
● Experience in the development, sales and/or marketing of custom products.
● Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
● Exceeding your targets and setting a new standard for initiative, efficiency, and results among your peers
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
● Experience in business development, preferably in architectural finishes or furnishings.
● Design savvy and ability to inspire creative vision.
● Experience with and commitment to a CRM platform such as HubSpot, and leveraging IT tools and technology for planning and execution.
● Market research to identify promising segments and specific targets, developing a disciplined and systematic approach to reaching goals.
COMPENSATION
Competitive personalized package includes base salary, lucrative commission and sales incentive bonus structure, health benefits, and equity.
Salary $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year, plus commission.
