Position Description
Job title: Marketing & Sales Specialist
Reporting to: Director of Business Development
Job Purpose
As Roylco’s Marketing & Sales Specialist, your primary responsibilities involve promoting and selling the educational and toy products that we produce. This entails understanding the features and benefits of each product, creating marketing materials, conducting product demonstrations, and providing detailed information to help our distributors make informed purchasing decisions. Additionally, you are tasked with building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to our customers’ needs and business strategy.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Create and distribute marketing assets
- Manage social media, email, and blog marketing
- Manage Roylco’s digital marketing program and SEO efforts
- Manage Roylco’s DTC channels
- Present products to current and prospective customers and perform follow-ups
- Prospect new customers and reach out with recommendations from our product line that suits their goals
- Enter & track customer orders, invoices, and payments while providing any customer service necessary to aid the transaction
- Share insights from industry conversations in order to aid in new product development
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity for revenue growth
- Manager customer service needs and service existing accounts
- Attend occasional industry events to network and present products
- Any additional requests presented
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent field
- Experience in marketing & sales is a plus
- Computer savvy: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, willing and able to learn a new business management software
- Ability to create and distribute marketing assets using industry software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Familiarity with Excel V-lookup function
- “Self starter” attitude
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
